I just replace the bulbs once or twice a season and clean the bin occasionally. For areas with dense shrubbery where the trap is less effective, I also use Spartan tubes, and my yard is now free from mosquito bites!

My garage was infested with mosquitoes, making it miserable.

We purchased this unit in July of last year and haven't been disappointed at all. It took a few weeks initially for the mosquito population to decrease, but since then, we hardly see any. I've only seen 2 mosquitoes this year. We replaced the bulb in the spring and had to clean it once, but other than that, we don't even think about maintenance.

I am the person whom mosquitoes love. I can be in a large group of people, and I'm the only one getting bitten. I couldn't enjoy my beautiful backyard at night due to the mosquitoes until I got this product. I wish I had it sooner, and I would love a battery-operated model for portability. It started working sooner than expected, and although it's bigger than anticipated, I absolutely love it. I even had a party with 38 people, and no one mentioned any bugs. Multiple guests took pictures of it to get one for themselves. It traps all kinds of insects, but I check it periodically for butterflies and allow them to escape. The noise is not too loud for me.

I was skeptical at first, but after installing it on our front porch, it really works! I've shared the link with all my neighbors because it's fantastic. I can't confirm if it covers the total area as advertised, but I bought a second one for the backyard, and I'll write a review about that soon. We live in the middle of the Everglades in Florida, and I've never seen so many giant mosquitoes. I'm currently cleaning the unit, so I'll update my review later.
